The next day she started chatting with me. It looks like she doesn't speak English at all, she was just using a translator (because she kept having Portuguese words come through that didn't translate). We quickly moved into using my horrible Spanish (half the time I was double checking myself with Google Translate) and her using Spanish with a lot of Portugese words and spellings.
Basically what happened is she asked me how I knew Dave - I told her I went to high school with him. She asked what High School. I said one other than the school he had listed on his profile (oops), then she told me that she was the one who proposed. I put the chat log so those of you with Spanish/Portuguese skills can read through it. With all these mistakes I thought I blew it and she knew I didn't know dick about this guy.
